Conference Overview
The challenge of the current era in healthcare IT is delivering true value to healthcare providers empowering better patient care, improved outcomes, lower costs, and a more efficient technology experience for providers. Through leadership lessons from c-suite executives to engaging talks on current issues and workshops highlighting our five special interest groups, the Virginia HIMSS fall conference will educate and inspire. Join us as we explore ways to collaborate and promote health IT throughout theCommonwealth.

Our conference program includes four keynote talks, two c-suite executive panels, a series of Ted talk style presentations, an author presentation with book signing, an overview of current healthcare legislation and policy, and four Special Interest Group workshops. Students from universities across the Commonwealth will be presenting their research at our Health IT Poster Session. We will also host multiple networking opportunities and a golf tournament benefitting the scholarships sponsored by our chapter.
